So familiar and depressing.<br /><br />I think that in the short term, if the police officer I spoke to had made me feel less like I was wasting her time, I might have got to a stage where I could have talked in more detail. And it's very difficult to find the right language. I want to say that I was made to feel like I was <i>mad</i>, but mad in a way that has nothing at all to do with mental health. And then there was all the baggage of disability and gratitude, despite how very little care he actually provided.<br /><br />I'm very sorry and angered to read about your experience.
